Dryden Goodwin’s film and video pieces are poetic celebrations of individuality and humanity, highlighting intimate moments and gestures against the backdrop of a shifting and evocative urban landscape. From photography and drawing to single-channel videos and multi-screen installations, this book explores a broad range of Goodwin’s work, while the accompanying DVD features 26 pieces, including ‘Heathrow’ (1994), and ‘Closer’ (2001), as well as a version of his multi-screen work ‘Dilate’ (2003) that allows the viewer to navigate through 64 possible permutations.
