Continuing the artist’s ongoing exploration of the themes of nostalgia and aspiration (frequently articulated through her skilful and evocative deployment of archive material), this visual record of lok’s multi-screen installation, ‘Faster, Higher’, encourages the reader to go further and deeper into its subject. Richly illustrated throughout with archive images, screen shots and installation photographs, the book also provides an incisive commentary on lok’s work, with specially commissioned essays by the critics Adrian Rifkin and Chris Berry.
