About this publication

Following on from an earlier monograph, ‘Mark Lewis: Films 1995-2000’, this publication documents a more recent series of film works produced by the artist since 2000, which continue his evocative reflections upon the cinematic history of medium.

Extensively illustrated and featuring essays by Steven Bode, David Turnbull and Jean-Pierre Rehm, the book was published to accompany two large-scale exhibitions of Lewis’s work that took place at MOMA, Oxford in 2001 and at Villa Arson in Nice in 2001/2002.
