Made in 2018, Mikhail Karikis’ video No Ordinary Protest was perfectly in tune with a moment when children, led by teenage activist Greta Thunberg, rose up in anger at the imminent prospect of future climate emergency. As planetary temperatures continue to rise, and as public protestations heat up accordingly, Karikis’ powerful parable has only gained in relevance.
