Lawrence Lek's Jerwood/FVU Awards film Geomancer (2017) shows in an exhibition of works by the six artists nominated for this year’s Film London Jarman Award. Larry Achiampong & David Blandy, Jasmina Cibic, Lawrence Lek, Daria Martin, Hardeep Pandhal and Margaret Salmon are are at the forefront of experimentation in filmmaking. See their works at Towner Art Gallery until 28 October 2018.

In Geomancer, Lawrence Lek expands his signature gaming-world aesthetic to alight on a longstanding tension between the place of the human and the role of the machine. Set in Singapore in a speculative year 2065, a satellite Artificial Intelligence 'awakens' above the city. Find out more.
