Geomancer shows at International Film Festival Rotterdam as part of the programme Dreaming Androids.
The film depicts the 'awakening' of an satellite who, in 2065, wants to become the first artificially intelligent artist. As the geopolitical axis tilts further to the East, Lek alights on a long-standing tension between the place of the human and the role of the machine.
