Spectrum Film Night: The Digital (In)Stability, at the Royal College of Art, will include five moving-image works that comment on the relationship between the human body and digital identity.
Included in the line-up is a screening of KhoiSan Medicine, Anne Haaning's 2014 film in which fragile physical forms and the ephemeral digital world engage in a battle for permanence and tangibility. The film was commissioned for the Jerwood/FVU Awards 2014: What Will They See of Me? A collaboration between Jerwood Charitable Foundation and FVU in association with CCA: Centre for Contemporary Arts, Glasgow and University of East London, School of Arts and Digital Industries.
