As part of Museums at Night, Firstsite Colchester are joined by Jerwood/FVU Awards 2017 winners Patrick Hough and Lawrence Lek. Their Awards works And If In A Thousand Years and Geomancer will both be screened, followed by a series of discussions about their individual commissions and interest in moving image as an artistic medium.
The two works employ conceptually fitting digital technologies to examine the steadily blurring line between the real and the artificial, exploring the Jerwood/FVU Awards 2017 curatorial theme Neither One Thing or Another.
