Dryden Goodwin's Poised will show as part of Visions in the Nunnery, a renowned showcase of moving image and performance works from emerging and established artists.

Poised is a close-range observation of a group of divers in training. Throughout the film Goodwin's camera shifts our attention to corporeal and spatial details, illuminating the intensity of the divers' focus, as well as their idealisation of graceful movement and 'flow'.

Poised was commissioned and curated as part of Everything Flows by FVU and De La Warr Pavilion. Supported by the Wellcome Trust and Arts Council England. With thanks to Crystal Palace Diving Club.
