Sodastream by Roderick Buchanan features as part of CINEMA DESPITE, a one-off festival that attempts to expand and trouble an underexposed history of artists' moving image practice in Scotland. 

Originally commissioned by FVU, Tramway and Moviola, Liverpool as part of the 1995 group project Instant, Sodastream observes a mesmorising series of soda-filled glass bottles hitting the floor like a perpetual firework display.
